I agree with anonymous. You could tell it was a recorded voice prompter that took time to react to what I said. But since I've been applying for jobs and she claimed to be from jobmatch.com after I asked, I was ready to speak a little to this prompting. She asked my name, what year I acquired my high school diploma or GED, wanted me to confirm I was a citizen, and the highest level of schooling I've completed, then it cut off. Definitely a scam. I'm applying for jobs not in California, but I'm sure this scam call paired my number with a phone number with the same area code to make its victims less cautious. Look out! Not safe!
Goes in cycles. Display always says "unknown name". I never answer. Then some additional different numbers call saying the same "unknown name". This goes on for days with multiple calls per day. Slacks off a bit then stops for indeterminate periods when the "cycle" starts again, usually with a number that's different from the one I originally blocked. I continue to block the numbers but they always have other numbers. I don't owe any money and I don't answer unknown or unidentified calls. That's the safest thing to avoid whatever scam or other telemarketing these callers are trying to get across. I hate it.
Reverse mortgages, solar/HVAC, student loans....does it ever end. This one doesn't leave a msg and blank line when you call back. The phone co's need to do something about our time being wasted.
