They called today...my 1st experience with the IRS scam...however I also know the IRS never calls; they write or VISIT in person. I have no time for this illegal nuisance!
Message said that she was an IRS agent and wanted to talk about my debt. Said I should not ignore the call and then told me to take care which struck me as weird. Odd sounding woman's voice.
Yes, says Tammy Grey from IRS, but recorded message. Duh, the IRS only communicates by snail mail. Was surprised they had a message to leave, but I guess if you are impersonating the gov, you want to do it up big.
