This is a total FRAUD! I had many calls from UNKNOWN then finally they left a voice mail. The lady on the voice mail sounded drunk. The name she left was Officer Heather Gray from the IRS . I called and an Officer Angela Cooper answered with an accent. She asked if I had a criminal attorney. She said if I hang up now then in 45 minutes the police will call me and take me to jail! As I was talking to her I looked up the number 951-442-7715 and come to find so many other people were saying similar things. I told her I see your calling from Arlington, CA and she said yes I'm calling from California but the main office is in Washington DC. Then she said if I don't pay $5500 now that they will freeze my bank accounts for 5 years and I won't be able to get any accounts. This site really helped me verify this fraudulent call! After I started reading all the comments I told the "Officer" you are a FRAUD...she started to raise her voice saying are you questioning my character? I said no I'm questioning who you work for! I proceeded to tell her I was reporting her fake IRS company and if she was smart she would quit now before the police comes to get her! LOL Just like another comment I read...the IRS will contact you with regular mail or Certified. They won't cold call you asking you to pay money with a credit card. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY or don't call them if you get a voicemail. Search the phone number and you will know it is a scam!
I have been receiving calls from an unknown or private number for the past 3 days. Today I answer the number there was a long pause before the Heather Gray drunken robot voice came on the line. She stated that she was with the IRS and it was extremely important I return her call at the number 951-552-7715. Ok first off the IRS never calls you with a drunken robot telling you, you owe them money. If you owed the IRS money you would know it way before you got a phony call like this. Don't call them back this is a scam. Please anyone that reads this comment tell everyone you know so they don't get scammed. Especially younger adults and the elderly as the might be more likely targeted.
