The call was from California. The CID said WASHINGTON MUTUAL. The answering machine wasn't set so the phone rang through to its electronic menu (10 rings). I never did business with WaMu and it went belly-up and was sold to Chase several years ago. Must be some kind of scam.
Follow up to above message. They called again. This time the caller ID showed just numbers. The person calling could barely speak English well enough to get his message across, although from the words Microsoft and Computer I suspect it was a computer scam of some kind.
