Caller asked for me by name. It was a bad pronunciation, so it immediately put my wife on guard. Told her he was from Customer Service. When she said that I couldn't come to the phone, he wanted my cell. She asked for a number I could call, and he hung up.
Caller called and ask for my husband by last name (butchered it) and when I told him he wasn't here he asked for a cell number. I refused to give it out so he said he was a wholesaler informing people about upcoming auctions in our area and wanted to call back at the home number in the future if it was okay. I said, no it would not be okay.
