I received 4 calls in one day and it's not even my debt! Someone by the name of "Mr. Roberts" from FPR GROUP is calling me. They are looking for someone I know because they have an unsettled car title loan that needs to be resolved or he will be taken to court. I politely told them not to bother me regarding something that has nothing to do with me because that said person would have never listed my information. I ended up getting 3 more calls. Come to find out FPR GROUP has been calling my disabled mother and brother in law who also knows this person. This is ridiculous. I talked to the person whom FPR GROUP has been calling about. He said confirmed that he had a title loan out in 2012 but paid it off. Furthermore, he ended up giving his car away because he bought a new one. He also made a valid point; if he had defaulted how was he able to transfer the title to someone else? How do these people get our information like that? They should be put in jail.
