This number called my pay as you go cell phone at 9:21 AM on 3/14/2017 with no name listed so I did not answer and caller left no message. All numbers that have called me using 951-800-xxxx have all been attempted scam calls!
Called this morning, pre-recorded message, started with conversational "hi, this josh from customer service. Can you hear you hear me alright?" To which I, of course did not answer, then had a pause and started again as if I had said yes. I disconnected. I have a contact on my phone I've named [***], and when I block one of these calls they also get added to that contact so I can see them all together...
They called me claiming to be a part of some resort company and that I had won a lot of free stuff. They said that I had recently stayed with them in one of their resorts, never stating exactly which one. They said that they were only calling a select few people per state for this great prize. They said that they were going to ask me a few questions. I of course have never stayed in any resort, so I let them finish speaking and then I politely told them that I wasn't interested.
This number is certainly not to be trusted.
