I don't recognize this number. No one left a message either. All my friends that call & if I don't answer, they are able to get through to my answer machine & always leave a message. Anyone not on my good list on my call blocker won't be able to get through unless they listen to the recording & do everything it says. It's made hard for people not on my list for a reason. If you don't follow instructions, you can't get through. Even if you follow instructions & can ring through, if I don't recognize the number, you will be blocked permanently & will never get through, no matter how many other numbers you call from. I read about a call blocker than can block up to 9,999 numbers between good & bad numbers & that was the one I decided on. Awesome! I have about 200 good numbers so that leaves 9, 799 bad numbers I can block. How cool is that. I have had this machine for more than a year & have averaged 300 callers per year. So I can block bad calls for about the next 32 years. Before then, there is no telling what our phones will be able to do then. Maybe some will have a button that sends the scammers call back to them & ring their own phone so they can listen to their own recording. Would be nice if phone companies had it fixed where you have a machine that you have your good numbers in & if they aren't in the machine, no one else could get through, thus stopping scammers permanently. As it is now, my phone number blocker still rings once as to activate the call blocker. You are either on the good list or bad list & can either ring through or not ring through.
