these people called , we were out , we returned the call,they were a finacial portfoilo firm,we asked not to be called as we were on the no-call list,they said we don't care what kind of list your on give us your phone number and then we'll discuss it, we said NO then they became verry rude, v so rude my wife disconnected and threw the phone across the room, i asked what was erong , she told me what happened,i called john answered i asked to speek with his supervisor,he disconnected us, i called another man answwered,he connected me to a woman ,supposley a supervisor,when i explaned why i called she told me the same thing,they don't what kind of [***] list were on that they would call us whenever they wanted and i couldn't do a damn thing about it,isaid well [***] you and here i am,i want to know how to stop this bull [***]
Hi, here's another way to handle a call from an uninvited caller. Try doing a reverse prank phone call on them. Don't respond to any of their questions, but ask in a sultry voice, "What are you wearing", or put them on hold, and don't come back, or any number of creative things that will take care of the problem.
1.) Make you laugh instead of being angry.
2.) Waste the caller's time so they cross you off their call list. (They don't want to waist their time.)
It's a win - win situation. : - )
You can't change anyone else, but you can always change yourself. Have fun.
This man called and asked for my roomate. I gave the phone to her and she became angry. He was accusing her of having a balance on her capital one credit card. Well first she does not have a credit card. Second you don't talk to people that way. So she hung up on them. Then he called right back and I answered. He asked why I hung up and I explained he was not talking to the same person. He demanded to talk to her. I said no. Then I said he would not call my home and talk to me or anyone else that way. He siad thats fine Ill call tomorrow morning. I said no you won't and hung up the phone.
Ive listed some more of their numbers a couple posts down. My wife and I ended up changing our phone #. Anyway I've been calling them and harassing them for a change. Not from my new # tho.
