I keep getting calls for (jeff) the number that shows up is 1-952-582-6077 he keeps asking for my mom and I keep telling him she doesn't live with me and i ask who are you and he says jeff from portfolio advisement(so he is lying ) and i said whats that and he angerly said well um it's the name of my business and i was like OH! well umm if i dont ask she wont respond cause she wont know who you are and he angerly said wel this is a business matter between me and her ..so i hung up and blocked him , thanks to people here I dont feel bad about it at all now , if it is so important why is he calling me and not her?
It's a guy named Jeff with a debt collection company. If someone listed you as an emergency contact when they went to the ER like an estranged spouse, Jeff will call you to demand payment. If you say not to call because it's not your bill, he will scream at you.
Tell him to keep on screaming. While you are at it, let him know the call is being recorded and you intend to have him and his employer prosecuted for violations of the FDCPA.
