This guy named Mr. Merritt called me threatening to have me jailed if I didn't send him $500 in 24 hours, then when I asked if he would tell me why or what for, he yelled and said I would be getting arrested.
I called the police and reported his threats.
I also called a consumer attorney and he told me that I could not be arrested for owing money. I don't even think I owe anyone and this guy would not tell me, he just demanded money.
I have never had anyone talk to me so rudely and curse at me so much. I have also contacted the FBI, and BBB, and the FTC.
I was told by all these agencies to not speak with Mr. Merritt again and to NEVER send anyone calling over the phone any money.

Very rude man at so called collection agency. Will not send any mail stating the debt owed. Called me childish and immature! Left all the personal information about this debt on my answering machine. He found my parents home number and began harassing them. But each time i speak with him he calls me names and will not send any documentation! VERY PROFESSIONAL!!

Same guy calls me everyday, I only talked to him once and he started yelling and cursing when I asked him for documentation of some sort of bill he said I owed. He said the sheriff would be coming to arrest me and I would be jailed and he could save me if I wired him $600 today. I said no, and he hung up. he still calls me screaming and calling me names. this guy is crazy.
Some terrorist organization I think is calling people pretending to be bill collectors, told me I owed Sears $1000 and I've never charged anything with Sears. Got rude and beligerant and down right crazy when I refused to give him my banking information. I'm contacting the FBI because this fool threatened my family and no one gets away with that. This person is crazy, be careful if you get a call from this deranged idiot. Don't send him any money and don't give him any information. I tell you he's crazy. Perhaps a terrorist.
