Got a call from this number and identified as Environmental S. The man said he was calling for one of my friends and couldn't say whether it was Mia, Mya or Myma. I don't know any one by those names. When I told him that he just said goodbye.
They called last month and said they were taking a "survey" which is allowed under the rules of do-not-call,, but I could tell they were just fishing for customers. Said they were located in Eden Prarie, MN. I gave the lady a hard time and told her I was not fooled by this telemarketing ploy. I did NOT take part in their survey.
Now tonight some guy calls me up to thank me for taking the survey and gives me a choice of several "prizes". I educated him on the quality of the sales lead the first person was passing along to him. He didn't seem to feel like he should apologize for this abuse.
Report this telemarketer if you are on the DNC. They can't get away with fake surveys to cover up with sales calls or scam, whatever it is.
