Well, my call blocker died a few months back and it's been a long, slow process to get the hundreds of numbers I've blocked in the past entered into the new unit, which means a lot of these tele-pests are getting through again. This is the SEVENTH (!) nuisance call today.
When they called a few minutes ago I didn't realize they've called before. This was one of those where my Caller ID displayed "NO DATA" - there wasn't a name or phone number displayed, not even Unknown Name.
I picked up and there were loud call center noises. I said can I help you? A man – with a light foreign accent – asked if he could speak to the person who handles our Google AdWords campaign. I said, “No you may not, and don’t call here again.” Then I said, “Your number doesn’t show up on my ID – why is that?” He stumbled around, then said “it should.” I asked him for the number and he gave me this one. I asked what company, and he said Digital Media Construction. I said thank you, I’ll be blocking this number.
