I blocked this number because they asked for my social security number.. now they are calling everyone I have been associated with for the past 40 years and harassing them
I received a call at 10:43 am on June 29, 2016 from 954-423-4128. This was the strangest call I have ever received. The caller left a message about a claim they had in their office. The message was, " We are handling a claim in our office. Your claim number is 606604. Please press 0 to speak to a representative or call us at 1-888-286-5462. Thank you." The message did not state what type of claim (money owed to me or someone who thinks I owe them money) or who is making the claim or even the name of the company which made the call. When I looked up 888-286-546 on 800notes.com there were many complaints from consumers that said they were being hassled by a firm trying to collect nonexistent payday loans. I have never had a payday loan.
My caller ID said, "Out of area." This is a sure sign of a telemarketer. What legitimate business doesn't use their real name for their caller ID? None that I know of. I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years. I'll report this call on donotcall.gov. Don't fall for this scam.
I got my second call from 954-423-4128 on June 29, 2016 at 1:35 pm, less than three hours after first call. Same message as before. I reported the first call on donotcall.gov.
954-423-4128 has been calling me for days with the same message as Bob (above). These people are harassing me. They call several times a day and leave a call back message. I also have never had a payday loan.
