we have told them to stop calling us - we did business with them 2 years ago - not interested any more - they are a waste of time and money - however they continue to harass us - we have filed a complaint with the national do not call registry
Called asking for two of our owners by first name. Told him unavailable at this time and he said he'd try back later. I will gatekeep these people all day every day.
Pushy Rude Solicitor. Called asked for boss. Asked who was calling and was told "OMG" Asked what it was regarding he curtly replied "he knows who I am" (a lie). Told caller boss was on vacation- he repeated asked when he was returning. I asked how can I help? He asked if I was an owner. I said no. He hung up.
We actually do business with OMG National and they do provide our "on hold" messaging. This guy, Freddie, called today and was extremely curt and rude. He said it was regarding an invoice that my boss had sent in. Funny thing is, I actually do A/P and I'm the one who sent it, but he would not talk to me. When I told him that my boss was not in the office and asked to take his number, he told me he had his email and would contact him that way and promptly hung up on me.
I got a call from a guy who asked for a person by first and last name (the person he asked for does not work for us, has NEVER worked for us, BUT I do know of the person because he used to rent the facility that we know own AND ran an auto mechanic business at the property, but his business was not associated with our phone number, only the address) I said that person can not be reached her, why would you be calling him at this number, he then said he got an email from him telling him to call his office. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I doubt that very much, for one if he's doing business with the person that he called me and asked for he would know that this is not HIS office number. Soooo the guy from OMG National that called got mad at me because I did not believe him and I appeared to have an attitude on the phone and he let me know about it. He tried to tell me that he was just doing his job, I told him well I don't understand why your are calling a tree service looking for that guy who used to, and maybe still does, own an auto mechanic shop?? He said Oh, did you say I'm not calling a tree service I said no I said YOU ARE, but that person has nothing to do with the tree service, then he mentioned he was calling XXXXXXXXXXXtree service, I said Oh well, how can I help you then and he said never mind you already have. ?????? I look at it this way, when somebody calls my office asking for somebody who isn't affiliated with our business and acts like that person gave them the number to call us for whatever reason, they should #1 be upfront about why they are calling and not get mad at the person answering the phone, copping an attitude because person answering is asking them , WHO CALLED, why they are calling and give the person who answered the run around. Sooooooo, I/We WILL never do business with OMG National, I don't care what kind of service they offer.
