It keeps a history of all the places you (and all people on your phone plan) and tracks how long they stay there. It makes me wonder how private or NOT private your information is. I've heard that in order for a company to not be able to track the phones anymore, all phones need to be completely erased and taken back to a complete reset. I wish I knew that my location tracker symbol wasn't constantly on. It's a bit stalkerish on the part of the company.
