I HAD to work for the parent-company JAK Productions,,,no work where I live, anyway they have a computer dialer call a bunch of people at once,,then if a telemarketer gets any call they have to wait to see if there is answer, if its an answering machine they are not allowed to speak.
Got a call today from CPPA, guy used the decades-dated sexist "am I speaking to the man of the house?". I told him I didn't want to deal with them due to their fake caller ID (300 exchange? "Local Call"?). Found this site with the calls from similar number 970-300-2162 and also looked at the CPPA.net website. Called the removal number and got a live person named "Skip" who apologized for any inconvenience, asked if the call was for the CPPA, and said he'd "shoot an email off to remove me."
Rude person called wanting to know if my wife was the lady of the house. We're on the "do not call" list, & he was rude & flippent when my wife asked him to take our number off their calling list. Hehung up in response. I tried unsuccessfully to call number appearing on my caller ID screen.
