I have no idea how this jerk got my number, although I do believe that someone named "George" may have put down my number instead of using his own when looking at a job website. I keep getting texts, calls, etc. This guy was talking so fast and wouldn't stop so I was actually thinking that it was a robo call, but when I shouted that I couldn't hear or understand what the (bleep) he was saying or who he was, he stopped and started over. I told him I wasn't looking for a job and the number was on the DNC list. He was very rude (but by then, so was I...)
Very strange call! I am currently seeking employment and using as many resources as I can; Career Builder, Indeed, etc.
Received a call from this number and the man said he was calling from It's My Career.com (I have never contacted them). He was offering me the opportunity to apply to receive assistance for job skill training. As I questioned him he disconnected the call.
So now I realize that I though I need to continue job searching, every time I contact or connect to a job site I'm opening myself to scams.
I really hate how whenever I search for jobs my phone number is put on soliciting lists. They've called multiple times and it's getting to the point where I'm going to report them
I wasn't looking for a job but went on a web site looking for reviews of a company I was doing biz with and got redirected to a job seeking website. Now I get these stupid scam calls about job seeking! How do they get your # thru a website? Anyway, it's a scam and they keep calling so I blocked them.
