I have no tax issue that I'm aware of.

It's a scam. The IRS doesn't call, they send mail. Block and ignore.

I answered the call but I didn't say anything since I assumed it was a telemarketer or a scam, and the guy kept whispering "hello" in a creepy voice.

This tax scam is also linked to 800-636-5054. I have been called 3 times today. Its to bad these guys can be shut down faster.  Please block the call

2020 tax resolve   left message says name is thomas Mitchell --- number on caller ID is -970-372-1088 message says his number is 800-880-7318 extension 203  ... I didn't answer and won't call him call back
