I have been contacted by this number regarding a craigslist add. I don't know if it is legit or a scammer. Person said they have a client in my town (and yes he could at least name my town without me saying) and that he would send a code via text to verify that I was a real person. When I told them they could just call they again said they would let me know when the "code" was coming. I am not getting my hopes up but, I will try to let y'all know the outcome.

Totally a scam. This person refused to call and was VERY rude. The 'code' came through from a Washington number that is flagged as a scam. When I told them again that they could call they just insisted I give them this code that came from a third party and then wanted me to set up a pay pal. I don't know what they are after but they got very belligerent when I told them this was all too scetchy and they could call or cease contact.
SCAM.... this guy posted a rental and so i called it. seemed to good to be true but i gave it a shot. wanted me to send money to him saying he was from Alabama.. i tried to keep calling for more info and he insist he cant talk. i googled the number and turns out its a scam.
