Got a call from this number to my house phone 5 minutes ago, 1:00pm, Sunday 3/29. Let it go to call answering as I do with every single unknown number to the house. Called the number back on my cell phone only to get: "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line..." blah, blah, blah - I hung up. Further research indicates that the number was added on 3/24! WTF is going on nowadays? I don't get it nor do I want any part of it. From countless 1800notes posts I've read after research of countless numbers to my cell phone via craigslist crap, I've seen that the do not call list really doesn't work, so I'm not even going to bother - and I don't have Apple products, so that's not a solution either. Oh well, at the moment it only seems to be a nuisance rather than a complete life altering event so they can keep trying their childish-[***] tactics like masking their numbers as another person's or changing area codes and such. They're all [***]! If only they could put their carnie talents to good use, maybe they'd be able to make an LED TV last more than two years! Ha!
Caller claimed to be from the Veteran's Assistance Board looking for a one time donation. The voice seemed robotic and when I asked for information to be mailed to me, I apparently broke the software and it put me into an endless loop of it saying "excuse me, could you repeat that?" No thanks, I hung right up.
This number called me claiming to be a part of the Veterans Asstance Board or something of the sort... When I said he had the wrong number he insisted that it was correct. When I did not respond he insisted he would call me again later. (I think. The voice sounded robotic so...)
