they've called 3 times in the last hour. Why would they call a Cdn # to ask about US political views? I think it's obvious they are just going down a list of #'s from all over Canada & the States.
They call me at work, but there's never anyone on the line when I pick up. I've had several calls with ID "Ind Sur Group" (like this one) before, but not from this number. Judging from the times on the above complaints, it's a new number for them. Probably everybody probably blocked their old numbers, so they have to get new ones periodically. I cannot block from work, so I'm doomed to get these calls for the next several weeks. Although political surveys and charities are exempt from the do not call list, they are never allowed to call cell phones, so judging by the above complaints, this company does not seem to be legit.
If they are legit, the best way to stop these calls is to find out which marketing firm is responsible, and to call their main line (listed on the internet) and ask to be added to their own internal do-not-call list. I've done that for two different marketing firms, and it works great until they sell your number to the next marketing firm. Good luck everybody!
