got a call just now. CID said "Ind Sur Group"...I answered b/c I have a surgery scheduled and mistakenly thought the "sur" was "surgery" Got an automated robocaller saying I had been selected to answer a "political survey" and at the end would get a cruise. At the end of that (I went through the steps to get to a person to say I am on do not call list...and to NOT call me again) they answered "Caribbean Cruise Lines." I said I am on do not call list, do not call me again! And the person on the other end had the NERVE to say "I didn't call you." I said, "well if you didn't call me, how is it that you are on the phone speaking to me?!" She said "a company called Political Opinions of America" called you...you can go to their website and get on their do not call list.
I know even answering the call just gives them the info it's a valid number. BUT, the number of robocalls/telemarketing calls I have been getting over just the last few months has gone up dramatically. This even after verifying that my home and both of our cells are still registered on the National Do Not Call site. I am beyond frustrated!!!
