These people are a pain! I added the call blocker feature to my phone service and it is great! I get a call like this and I simply add it to my call block list...never hear from them again!
i'll bet if you call back and press one, it's actually validating that it is a real phone number...like the spammers who tell you to hit "unsubscribe," and then actually put you on more lists. evil scum.
Received call. Phone number is from Beaverton, Oregon. Recorded message about consolidating credit cards. On do not call list. Pressed 1, got "Jamie" who hung up on me as soon as I began to complain about call.
Called recorded message, "this is your last chance for a lower credit card rate,you will be taken off our list"
boy do I wish! pressed 1 to speak to person to lower your rate, told them to stop!!! calling woooo she hung up so fast. bet they keep calling.like some one said is this legal?
