They said they were GE Home Security, I asked them no to I call again.
The man said he would remove me from the list after I repeatedly said I didn't want him to call again.
We'll see if that works.
From any phone you want to stop the calls from:
-- Call toll-free 888-382-1222
-- Follow the prompts and you enter the phone # from the phone you are calling from
-- Telemarketers calls are supposed to stop after 31 days for 5 years. If not, call back that # and report the phone # that is calling.
FYI: I did try to list a # that wasn't from the phone I was using and it wouldn't let me.
I received a call form 971-220-1019 tonight. He said that he was from GE Home Security. After he started talking I ask him sternly how he got my number. He said from a partnering website. He immediately continued his speech when I asked him again how he my number this time I was even sterner with him and he ignored me and went on with his speech. Then I practically yelled at him to tell me how he got my number. This time when he wouldn't answer him I ask again how he got my number because it is on the di not call list he immediately hung up on me.
I have received numerous calls from (971) 220-1019. They do not answer if you do answer the call. If you don't answer you get a message saying they wish to lower your debt and if you don't want to hear is again to press # 9, which is impossible to do on a message and if you call the number you can't do it either.
