Also just got a call from this number....dead air after answering. I have no choice but to answer numbers I don't know since the number they called is my business (self-storage/U-Haul) number, which is on the DNC list!
I have previously reported other numbers to the FCC and they did respond that they gather the information and investigate when the number of complaints is large enough. If you want these types of calls to stop, you have to do your part and report to the FCC.
DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN I HAVE REPORTED YOU TO THE BBB AND THE PHONE COMPANY IF YOU KEEP CALLING I'LL FILE ARRASMENT CHARGES AGAINST YOUR COPMANY I NO ANSWER YOU NO CALL NO MORE
Several mentioned filing a report with the FCC. Haven't found that is helpful. I've filed several complaints on different numbers all I get back is an email from the FCC telling me I can take them to small claims court. So what does the FCC do? Nothing I can see.
State of MO has a good Do not Call program and they actually go after them!!! You don't have to.
1. Get Google Voice
2. Use Google Voice for your voice mail number
3. When the number shows up as a call in your Google Voice account, block it
4. The next time they call they will get the number disconnected announcement
