Display showed "Greene Hunter". Let it roll to voicemail - no message left. "Greene Hunter" (green, as in money perhaps?) sounds like either a collection agency or a scammer.
I have been receiving these calls daily. Same info as others above have reported. The last two times I have picked up the receiver, pressed 1 on my phone and held it so it makes a loud noise. I don't have an air horn so it's the best I can do (plus the air horn would be as bad for me as them). Their calls irritate me so I hope this irritates them. Probably won't accomplish anything but makes me feel a little empowered.
I waited on the line after the introductory message to "lower" my credit card rates, and then pushed 1 to speak to the polite customer service representative. I asked him what was his company,,,did not get a real answer, but was told he represented my credit card. I asked, Oh really, which one. He responded quickly with "Visa"... I do not have a Visa Credit Card., These people call my number several times a day and have been calling my house for months. I wish I could tell them to F#@& off in the biggest way. I thought we were supposed to be protected from phone scams. Can't the phone company disconnect those b@astards line.
I keep getting calls from971-220-1771 , I normally don't answer it but this time I did and no one said anything. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. What good is that if you keep getting these type of calls??
Received a 3rd call from them, this time Ryan offereing to lower my credit card rate, same old thing, been going on for months. They shift from call center to call center so it is never the same number. I filed a complaint with the FCC and received a letter back stating that we could sue them and get $1500 per violationl..........so might be time! You can call the FCC Consumer Center toll free at 1-888-225-5322 or go to FCC.gov and file a complaint. Be sure you have records of times, dates, phone numbers (*69 to get it) cuz the forms will ask for the info. I am going to file again from this call! Good luck everyone!!! Keep good records!!! Go to FCC.gov to file a written complaint, but have dates, numbers and times ready for the forms.
