They picked the wrong one to mess with because I report.
I can tell you that the FCC does contact them and does put them through all kinds of paperwork and an investigation. The fine is $10K.
Just write down every time they call- time and date. Once you get three, that's good enough to report. You don't even have to talk to them. The fact that they are calling you when you are on the registry is enough.
REPORT THEM! It's easy to do.
I had another one of these jerks tell me that there isn't any such thing as the do not call registry anymore. I guess he's in for a surprise.
SCAM OPERATION.....You name the topic / subject this BS operation will pitch it. If you area business owner the BS pitch is different than if you are a "simple" consumer.
I got a call from them saying they were merchant card services and wanted to reduce my business card credit cards I don't own any. the number that called me 971-220-1946
recived many calls from the jack#%%@# and I also reported it to the DNC. The poster are correct the DNC reg is no longer helping with anything it's sounds good but there is no such program anymore, scammers can call whoever they wish.
The DoNotCall Registry is alive and well. Problem is, it works on voluntary compliance just like speed limit signs on roads. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. Conversely, if you are on the Registry and you receive telemarketing calls, you may be sure they are from abusive telemarketers or scammers so toy with them as you wish, they are begging to be messed with. Do you have a whistle, air horn or screaming smoke alarm to greet them with?
