Robo call. Caller ID read "Card Service". I've been plagued by this number for weeks now, so today I pushed 1 to "speak to a live operator." When the woman answered I started to ask her to remove me from their call list but she hung up on me before I could complete a sentence.
Because of her rudeness, I'm now making reports to the FTC, National Do Not Call List and our state's attorney general.
I have a no solicitor greeting and this was ignored. The caller did not leave a message after the standard 6 rings. Isn't it interesting that I pay for a "no solicitors" greeting on my phone, yet this company ignored it. Has to tell you something. I will file a complaint with the FTC.
The Do Not Call registry may not act on every single report, but the reports are still important - they can be used as evidence if a fine is contested. There are consequences, just not for every single incident. In 2005, for example, DirecTV was ordered to pay a $5.3M fine. ADT - $2M, Ameriquest - $1M. Please, keep reporting to donotcall.gov.
Don't these scammers know we don't answer the phone when they call...we google the phone number to see who the scammer is... "Reward Solutions"...same old scammer, different phone number. Never answer a number you don't know!
