I've received numerous calls from this number. While I do have an account with Apria, there's a zero balance. I never answered any of them until today. Someone with a heavy foreign accent, calling me by name, wanted me to verify my birthdate etc before giving me any information (which I didn't do) and said I had an outstanding balance (which I don't). When I told him I had a zero balance, oddly (or not) we were disconnected. I'll add this number to my block list. Sure appears to be on the SCAM scale!
I have received several calls on my cell phone from this number stating it was Apria Healthcare calling for payment, and if they don't receive it, they will send the account to collection! Each time I tried to call back, a recording said the number was disconnected. Today, however, when I called using my land line, a foreign sounding person answered. I told him that I think they have the wrong number and he said he couldn't track the number I was calling from. Then the line went dead. One more call, and another foreign sounding man answered. I asked him what Apria Healthcare was all about and he said they provide equipment such as wheelchairs. I told him I didn't get anything like that and he said he will put me on a do-not-call list. He also said he was in Chicago (not Portland).
