This caller identified himself as Robert with Google, when questioned about if he was an employee of Google's, said he was not actually with Google, but an affiliate of Google. He was very rude and tried to find out who managed our Google ad account, did not want to leave a message and claimed that he HAD to talk to someone right away because he could not receive incoming calls at his "company", yet I called him right back twice and received him once and his personal voice mail once.
Call from Robert - same as above, did not want to leave a call back number...said he could not receive incoming calls. Said he identified a problem with our PPC account and needed to talk with someone right away.
Got the same call from Robert with NCblah blah an affiliate of Google. He gave me the same speil about a problem with our account. I asked him questions he didn't have answers to and he just replied he wasn't trying to be difficult but needed to speak with whoever handles our account. I blew him off, he's not very good at his job or not job, whatever it is.
Robert called this morning with the same song and dance mentioned above, claiming to be affiliated with Google - not mentioning his company's name until pressed. The company name he gave was "TQE Marketing" out of Beaverton Oregon.
