Calls several times a day, I answer and its hold music, I wait and they want my information but won't tell me who they are . I don't think I'm behind on anything so I blocked them
Got a call from them telling me they were a collection agency and were representing Time Warner Cable. I knew I didn't owe any money to TWC and after I told them to go to ... well ... I double checked with TWC and my balance is $0
Absolutely a debt collector. Not ashamed to admit im in debt. It isn't a "scam" as some have suggested. If you owe any kind of credit card debt, no matter how old, that is exactly what it is. Debt collectors don't leave messages, as they are usually auto dialers, which tend to pause before putting you on hold to speak to a live person who will be mysterious about why they're calling because they want to verify your identity, and have to, by law. And they also want to keep you on the line. It's a very common practice of debt collection agencies I've encountered.

They are a scam, yes they buy old debt claims but they're calling a relative of mine who has no old debts and has a very high credit rating...look at all the BBB reports on them on this page. Don't take their calls.
