Fraud Scam reported by consumers involving the "Federal Legislation for Unsecured Loans" and the "Financial Accountability Association".
The perp identifies himself as Peter Wilson.
Consumers report that the fraudsters have all of their personally identifiable information including their demand deposit account number and social security number.
www.cashone.com reports hundreds of phone calls from consumers throughout the United States.
Called regarding my computer. Asked which operating system I use, Windows Vista or Windows 7. I told him neither, that I don't have a PC (I have a mac). He seemed confused and asked if I had a laptop. I told him no. He said, "Sorry...," and I hung up the phone before he could continue. Seemed like an obvious scam, to me.
Called and asked my my husband I said it wasnt in and asked if i could help him or take a message, he said yes your husband told me to call for your account information.
I have caller ID and didnt know this number and its a SCAM watch out!!!
I just got a call at work saying they were coming to arrest me because I took out a loan with Qwik Payday.com.. They would not give me the date I supposedly took out this loan, but they had my email address, soc sec number and names of my siblings. I never received money from them and they keep harrassing me at work. Anyone got suggestions for me.
