This is a public message board for discussing spam and scam phone calls. No one from here is calling you.
Scammers DO visit here. They use bot programs to harvest phone numbers. Posting your phone number here was not wise. I have asked the board administrator to remove it for you, but she doesn't work 24/7. Your number may be up for a while. You will get more calls from scammers.
I just missed a call as well. I'm sure this is a scam. Someone getting info sold to them from the thousands of websites we use. Most websites sell any data you give them. That's my only explanation for all the sales crap/bogus calls I get. My husband always tells me to hit "2" when you answer an it removes you from the call list. I'm not sure it works with everything but could be worth a shot?
I received a call from the Georgia number too, but before I received this call from portland. I am on the national do not call list as well. How frustrating.
You can report them to the FTC @ 888 382 1222. You can opt yourself out of telemarketer calls at the same time. I leave a message on my machine warning these callers since NO ONE has my number.
