We are a state government agency and have been receiving 3-4 calls a day (generally in the morning) for most of this week (14-19 October 2013). When the phone is answered, there is only silence. A call back to the number gets the standard "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed."
I've received several calls a day (more than 10 and sometimes 2-3 times per hour) from this Injury Claim Group. When the computer calls, it tells you to press one to be connected, but then the phone disconnects. When I called the number back, I pressed 1 to be placed on their Do Not Call List, but it tells you that it takes 72 hours. Well, 96 hours later, I'm still getting the calls. I've called 4 separate times and they keep telling me that they've placed me on their Do Not Call List..........so good luck with them stopping the calls.
I'm reporting the Injury Claim Group to the Better Business Bureau right now. I'm tired of their calls. Today I received 6 calls, yesterday 11 calls from 11:30a-7:44p. They're following the 9a-9p rule but I hope that doesn't matter.
It takes 31 days for businesses to take your number off their lists but i registered all our numbers on the National Do Not Call registry at donotcall.gov. Hopefully after a month no more unsolicited calls. I read their tips they say hang up on robocalls or prerecorded calls right away and don't press any mubers, and blocking these calls can be expensive because they use caller id spoofing and continue changing their names and numbers. I hope this helps anyone because I can't stand it anymore. You can't even take a decent nap. I couldn't report them to the better business burau because I don't have enough information on the company.
