I answered and after two "hellos" they asked for my husband. I said he was not available and could I leave a message for him. She says no and hangs up. Really professional. Sounds like if they are telemarketers they aren't really looking very hard to sell.
Lots of people think that robo calls don't matter. Let me tell you THEY DO! I received a robo call from HBW at 8:00 am. I'm ill and doing chemo. The only time I don't feel sick is when I can manage to go to sleep. These sob's called and woke me up. THANKS SO MUCH. The first thing I did after I got woken up the robo call is puke...Nice. STOP CALLING ME!
I just answered this call at work. After a delay the lady claimed to be from Allstate looking for my husband. I told her he was not available and asked to take a message, and she stated his name showed up on a safe driver list and that she had some discount. I told her who I was and that she got me at work, and asked for a phone number to call her back. She said sometimes she has a number that shows up but this time she doesn't (even though my caller ID said 971-270-1506). I know Allstate does not carry the safe driver refund program in my state because our last agent looked into it for us (he should have known ahead of time that it wouldn't work for us) and then I got a letter stating they could not insure us at all! But we have been Allstate customers for a long time and if the agent or his/her office needs to call they know where to reach us. This lady told me she would take us off the list since she had my work number. Good idea!
