They have been calling me every day for the past few weeks, asking for "Andrea Bowen". It's an automated message that says if this is Andrea Bowen, please press 1, if not, please press 2. When I press 2 nothing happens. I've got to figure out a way to block this number.
I get called by this number nearly every day. I answered one day, and they asked for Andrea Bowen as well, so I just hung up. Sounds just like what Ellen said in the comments.
This number called my cell phone constantly and even when I answered there was never anyone on the line. I just called back and entered my phone number as requested . I was connected to a representative for Stellar Recovery Inc. So, Yes it is a collections agency for Comcast; at least in my case.... A bill I disputed well over a year ago .... appears Comcast simply sold it off to collections. The representative was polite and professional. They are just doing a job. They have no reason to judge you - until you give them one ;-)
