I recieved a phone call one my cell phone from 972-084-1544 today from a hispanic man claiming he had sealed legal documents to deliver to me. He wanted to know if I would be available to accept delivery the next morning.
I asked him who the papers were from. He said he did not know, only that my cell phone number had been given to him. He would not answer any questions regarding these "documents". I told him to text me a number to call for more information and he said I could call the 800 number. I told him I was driving and could not write a number down... He said he would call back at a later date and hung up.
Upon returning to my office I tried to call the number on my cell phone: 972-084-1544 and the phone system responded that the number could not be dialed.
Same thing with me in Texas. A 512 area code. The person was not well spoken. Same conversation. I say scam. They called me again today and I didn't answer. I'm on a do not call registry so they'll be added to the list of harassing callers.
Same here with 512 area code, did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. Also have gotten numerous calls today from Securhome (another scam). Also on the DNC list.
