It sounded like one of the calls that they try to get you to say 'Yes' to record your voice. They stated that they were from Business Solutions I believe. They asked if I was Director of Finance; when I said no, they hung up.
Calling for IT manager, seems to be lying about who they are and why they are calling. Also treated me a little terribly, so I feel no guilt about hanging up.
someone with a very thick accent has called 2x this week asking for "joo-an". Today I asked them to spell the name - they spelled "j u a n". I so "you mean Juan - that name is pronounced Juan". The response, "oh yes". Then they gave the last name - there is no one here by that name; told them to put me on their DNC list. When you try to call the number, you get a recorded message that the call cannot be completed as dialed.
Find the answer for that in the fourth digit. North American prefixes don't begin with a 0 or 1. You're best off leaving this number alone completely. 99 percent of the time, foreigners are the only ones who call from numbers like this.
