These lying, thieving Indian PC scammers are out of control. They've called several times to try desperately to get me to load up their Remote PC control software. The way this scam works is they ask you to open a Command Window (cmd), then run "assoc" command in the window. Then tell you the CSLID number that your PC shows is your windows Serial Number - it's not - that's a lie. Each version of WIndows has a CSLID number that's the same as all the other PC's running that version. Then they want you to run "netstat" and tell you the connections your seeing from the netstat command are hackers or viruses - again, a lie. Then they try to trick you into going to a website and loading remote control, session control or some other PC remote desktop software so they can load a virus on your PC and steal your identity. If you have ANY question about them, demand to see their website. EVERY group in Microsoft has a website and would e-mail you a login and overly complex-LONG temporary password. We have contacts with Microsoft where I work and have to deal with their logins routinely. Oh, and Microsoft will ALWAYS send you a e-mail when working with you, all their contact info, their managers contact info, everything...
Remember, Microsoft will Never call you to give you anything
