I got a call from a lady that said my car was in an accident. I told her I was never in an accident. She then said she would file a some kind of a "subrogation claim" aginst me. I asked if she had a police report w/ my name on it, she said it was my vehicle. Yes, I may use the vehicle, that she gave a discription of, from time to time, that might have been in an accident, but not by "me."
Furthermore, no police report was made w/ my name on it. I'm wondering how they got my info? I will see how things go. Will post back the next time I hear from them.
I think they are some sort of a collections angncy trying to play it off, like they are a hot shot attorneys office.
I got a letter saying I was involved in an accident and that I needed to pay $2,500.00 I told them that I have never been in a car accident. He said he had witnesses. I said OK give me an email and I will have my insurance call them. He hang up. I called my insurance and gave them a copy of the letter I received and told them that I have never had an accident. They will not give this people any info because it's a scam. Please be careful and file a police report
Same [***] I got! This dude calls while im working and says I owe 5k and starts going "how are we paying this today?" First off what? Huh? Come again?
I ask him "who are you?" This dumdfu(k tells me like a kid throwing a temper tantrum "I don't answer questions! I ask em' and you respond! Answer me. WHERS MY FUC(KIN' CASH!!!"
I don't know who they normally deal with but this dude had me heated! Now they called back and his "manager" tells me "we were just going for your license, now were COMING for your life!"
I [***] you not!!! Who seriously would pay anything to these idiots! They wouldn't even fax me over document stating the balance and other info so they don't decide "oh well you still owe us this or that!" No paperwork, binder paper type stationary. Seriously. Then threaten my life? Over $?
