Looks like this is still going on...Just got the same text msg today from 703-89: "Dear Candidate; we reviewed your resume online. We aren't able to reach you, please call at 9722323139 to schedule interview. *This is not an automated message*"
Sorry, I'm not buying it. A legitimate company has my email and my cell phone number. They obviously were able to reach me by a text message. The fact that the msg came from 703-89 instead of a real number leads me to believe it is an automated message despite their protests to the contrary. Everything about this message screams SCAM to me.
Update: I reported the message to AT&T. They recommend I reply STOP to the message, which I did. The message used Message Media as the alert service. They are a well known company. We'll see what happens.
