We have also been getting several calls from this number. The caller tells you that you qualify for an "upgrade" glucose meter and they want to "verify" your information ,then they call your physician. and ask your Dr. to issue an "order" for the strips. What they are doing is attempting to take the business away from you're medical supplier that is currently serviceing you for diabetic supplies. My mother was falling for this scam and we ended up getting supplies from 4 different diabetic supply companies. Then the bills started coming in. We gopt a call 2 weeks ago and I told them "No we weren't interested in switching" and last night another call came in from this number.
I asked the caller last night how they got my name and number and he said from the "Diabetic Network".
It's a devious ploy.
I am being harassed by calls from this number. 3 & 4 times a day. The first time I answered I told the caller that I was happy with my diabetic supplier and to 'please' remove my telephone number from their list.
That was last week - still getting calls - I want to know how to report this because the calls won't stop.
I keep getting calls from this number and keep telling them to take me off their list as no one in the household is diabetic but it doesn't seem to help. I don't even know how they got my number.
