Called and left a voicemail about a "personal matter" and gave me a number to call back to resolve the issue. The number they told me to call was for a hospital where I had am MRI done a few months back. I was late in paying the $600 bill so they had called me a few times to collect the debt. This time, they had no reason to call because I had paid my bill 2 weeks ago. A receptionist in the billing department at the hospital said that she couldn't tell them not to call because she doesn't know how to reach them and that the reason they're calling me is because they probably just haven't updated their system. I reminded her that if I've paid the bill I shouldn't be getting any calls at all, and it's their job to keep their records straight, and I would consider it harassment if they called me again.
I don't answers calls that I don't know the number and after reading all your posts I know that it has to do with an x-ray bill that my workmans comp has not paid yet. The radiology group after 20+ years can't get their s*** right and send the bills correctly to the insurance company so they don't get paid and I am the one that gets the collection notices. Maybe if the radiology group would do their job correctly so that they can get paid like they want, there wouldn't be all this problem. I am tired of telling these people how to do their job correctly to get paid and I am tired of the insurance not paying the bill because of the radiology group not billing correctly. Thank goodness for call blocking so I don't have to deal with these idiotic people. Plus if they don't send the bill out immediately, of course they aren't going to get paid. Some people need to learn how to do their job correctly, especially after dealing with this insurance group for so many years...they should know the right way to do things...smn. they just collect money////you can talk to a wall and get the same help..eather block or mark it as a collector call and dont ans.
