Calls multiple times within an hour time frame and then hangs up when I answer thanking them for adding $$$ to a potential harassment lawsuit each time they call me. I think it's safe to say that it's a scam company judging by the number of times they call and their reaction to my answering
If at first you don't succeed, try try again. They're looking for a live voice since ripping off an answering device is impossible. A live voice is required for what they may be after. They're still getting something and that will make them believe their call will eventually be taken. Make sure the phone only rings if possible and get them tired of bothering you. A number that lacks any kind of answer becomes worthless to them.
