Call was automatically blocked as a robo caller. Number has a privacy block on it so you can't see the true identity of the caller, or call it back. Scammer/Spoofed caller!
Same issue as everyone else. My Number is on the do not call list but does not matter. I get 3 to 5 telemarketer calls per week. If you can ever trace them to the source they are in violation of the telephone consumer protection act or TC PA As a harmed consumer you are eligible to receive $1500 per call if you can ever find the source. The rules around the TC PA have recently expanded the definition of a solicitation call as of July 2016. Even the callers who say this is not a solicitation are in violation
No, you are entitled to $500 per call, it is up the the judge to award treble damages. The TCPA does not classify sales calls (telemarketing) nor is it the governing law.
Have received a phone call every evening for the last week, between 5 & 9 pm; hang up when answering machine picks up. You'd think they would figure out I'm not going to answer by now!
