Thank u I know this is a scam ive been getting phone calls like crazy I don't even have loans so idk what there talking about the same thing happened months ago saying their going to arrest me that there on there way and nothing happened
Saying that hes a process server and I'm being served papers within a couple of weeks but I can resolve this issue over the phone if I want he even Gave me a case number but I didn't do anything so idk what he's talking about had anybody else received from this number
"A legal process server delivers (serves) these documents to the defendant or individual listed on the legal document being served. Once the documents are delivered, an Affidavit of Service, also called a Proof of Service, is notarized and given to the party who requested the service."
Pretty sure that a "process server" doesn't resolve cases and isn't supposed to take YOUR money!
This is a very common scam going on by criminals in an attempt to scare you into paying money to them. It is called extortion. It is well documented within this web site. Please visit: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Learn about your rights in collection matters, if you get a company name, file a complaint there also. Do not pay them one penny until they validate the debt as required by law. Also you can check with your State Attorney general's office.
