Called for a free roof repair estimate. Told him that we were on the Texas No Call and the National No Call. His response was that only involves people trying to sell something. Advised him that that is what he is trying to do and hung up on him.
Trying to push the scheduling of a free roofing inspection tomorrow, "after all the recent damage in the area". I informed him that I was on both the State and Federal Do Not Call lists so to please remove my number. He then hung up on me. Somehow these telemarketers have recently obtained both my name and number, which is unlisted and has been for the past 11 years.
I kept getting these calls all the time. The Caller ID doesn't have the 972 area code, but when you call it back you do get the "personal assistant" voice mail for Dusty Dixon. I've been calling and leaving all sorts of funny voice messages. Right now I"m playing the full length Led Zeppllin song "The Crunge" onto the voice mail box. I'm going to do Stairway to Heaven after this. Eventually I hope to fill up the voice mail box. Feel free to join in the fun pranking the pranker.
