Yet ANOTHER one of these auto warranty SCAMMERS that have cropped up going on now for at least 6 months for me. Received a call just now from this number and the same old, same old "your warranty is about to expire" SCAM. I purchased an extended service plan for my automobile DIRECTLY through the manufacturer and it expires in, oh.....about another 75,000 miles! This is about the 10th number I've blocked using the same SCAM and the numbers all appear to be coming from Texas, California and I even had one yesterday from my local area code. Just use common sense with these criminals and I'd also suggest asking to have your phone number removed from their "call list", however I'm sure others will agree that typically that request does absolutely nothing. On another note, and just as a "heads up" for others, tax time is right around the corner so I'm sure we'll all get calls from the patented "IRS" SCAM stating you owe money (as far as that one goes, all we need to know is that the REAL IRS NEVER contacts people over the phone and only corresponds via certified postal mail). I don't know how these people sleep at night!! Sorry for the rant, but wanted to vent a little because I literally can't go a single day without getting these type of calls.
