The number belongs to Game Changing Benefits, 13601 Preston Rd Ste 440E, Dallas, TX 75240-4984. They also have independent agents who call from various cell phone numbers. The caller, ROBIN BRAVO (214-213-9187) called my parents claiming to be a "consulting group" with a focus on "educating the Medicare community". They call and promise to assist you with reviewing secondary Medicare Insurance policies to ensure that you are on the appropriate plan and receiving the maximum benefit. They reference vague phrases in the Medicare Pamphlet (sent out around annual enrollment) and promise to assist you with understanding the benefits or receiving the latest benefits. For example, there is a clause in the 2016 pamphlet (p. 12) that states: "The 2016 Medicare premium and deductible amounts weren’t available at the time of printing." Robin claimed that the updates have now been made and she could provide this information "free of charge". NOTE that the Medicare pamphlet itself tells you HOW to obtain the updated information! When asked about the business structure, Robin repeated that Game Changing Benefits is a "consulting group" with a focus on "education". She was reluctant to admit that this is a FOR PROFIT entity (so how can their services be free of charge?!?!?!) and finally conceded that they do have to make money for their services. Medicare Beneficiary beware.....do NOT give them your Medicare number!
